It's an organization led by people of color that are seeking to rebuild a just world.

They want to see the goodness of God in the world and live justly in light of it.

And you guys know that our focus here at the witness is black Christians.

But at times, one of the things that we believe is so important is to build and foster

across ethnic solidarity. That's why on August 25th, it's a Tuesday night at 7 o'clock

p.m. Central time there is going to be a special justice master class event

that deals with the interconnected histories of the Black Church and the Brown Church and

I'm proud to announce that along with Pastor Sandra Maria Van Oppstel, we are also going to be hearing

from our President Jamar Tisbee alongside of another friend of ours, Dr. Robert Chow Romero, the author of Brown Church.

They're going to be in a group dialogue talking about these issues of cross-ethnic

solidarity and the connected histories of the black church and the brown church and
