Alam and the Netflix movie adaptation has been hotly anticipated. It stars as we mentioned

Julia Roberts and Ethan Hawk as Amanda and

Clay Sanford a wealthy white couple who pack their teenage son and their young

daughter up for a spontaneous beach weekend at a gorgeous rental house on Long Island, but almost as soon as they arrive things start to go haywire.

In the middle of the night, the owner of the house, G.H. Scott, played by Marhershala Ali, shows up with his daughter Ruth, having fled Manhattan after a blackout.
