I thought by now we would already have heard the White House's executive orders on climate

change that are supposed to be announced today.

There was some talk yesterday that the White House was going to declare a national

climate emergency, which would give the president all kinds of powers to do all kinds of things

that Congress isn't willing to pass.

And no agency can now do because of the Supreme Court.

And that was going to probably couldn't have before the Supreme Court decision too.

I have a feeling this is just going to be ridiculous.

Yeah, the climate change emergency thing would be hugely controversial.

So the White House announced yesterday that would not declare a climate change emergency

today.

I don't think they ever will, but they're trying to make it seem like they're on the

verge.

But they are going to declare some executive orders.

So we'll see how far the White House is willing to go.

Yeah, most of it's been hollow gestures, just to appease the base or let the young voters

know they're trying.

That's politics.
