What a week we've had, eh?

Yeah, well, we've really struggled to kind of find something to talk about.

There's been nothing going on at all. It's been boring. I don't know what you're talking about.

Yeah, no, I thought it's going out to Simon Foster, who unfortunately is poorly, so couldn't do today's show.

Our tame economics professor who was going to take us through some elements of the cost of living crisis.

But a manor from heaven in our old chum, friend of the podcast, I'm sure, Boris Johnson has given us plenty to work with this week.

Just a little bit.

So, yes, so as one leader departs, we've got another leader on that's going to give us the view from the from the blue seats as to how all of

that's unfolding and and what happens next so welcome back to the show simon bocha good evening gentlemen

and how the both of you yes just delighted to be here um yeah it's been uh in the world of politics so sometimes

when you're putting we're putting these shows together um it would be fair to say sometimes we have to

we have to pan an awful lot of gravel to get the little nuggets of gold but this week it's um

it's rather landed in our laps

yes it's fair to say i've been quite popular after my views back in may on uh what boris

should or shouldn't be doing uh that i've had uh plenty of the other media outlets contacting me, wanting to speak to me, etc.

But as ever, gentlemen, I was more than happy to come on your show from a local point of

view and passed up some of the others.
