Hello there, it's Tuesday.

The news is, well, it's just horrible, so if you're looking for a good distraction,

you have come to the right place. Today I'm talking to the

actor, writer and former stand-up turned current stand-up, Juliet Cowan, about her

first Edinburgh show, The delightfully titled,

Fuck off and leave me alone.

Juliet was in the final of renowned comedy competition,

So You Think You Funny, back in 1999, but for reasons we go into in this interview, she stopped.

Not that she's not been busy because while her name might not ring an instant bell, her face almost certainly will, because

Juliet has been working incredibly consistently for the past 25 years in some really popular

stuff like this life, back to life, phone shop, the power and

everybody's favourite outrageous sitcom pulling.

We chat about all of that, a play which is about her mother's dementia and why, after all this time, she's giving comedy a second go.
