0:34.3	something that I hope will be a great encouragement and help to you.
0:44.5	This chapter ends with Jesus declaring that the Sabbath was made for man and not man for the Sabbath.
0:44.9	And then he says a remarkable thing about himself.
0:48.0	He says, therefore the son of man, which by the way was Jesus' favorite title for himself.
0:52.5	Don't you love that?
0:53.6	He is the son of God.
0:55.0	But every time he says son of man, he's just identifying with us. Therefore, the son of man is Lord
1:00.6	also of the Sabbath. I think there's a wonderful truth here for all people who are working for
1:08.1	the Lord. Now remember, the Pharisees were religious workers, but they
1:11.6	were religious workers who missed the big picture. And the Lord Jesus is surrounded at this same time
1:17.8	by his own disciples, by his own followers, people that he is preparing to do his work in this world.
1:26.0	And I think one of the great rules for every worker is you need to learn
1:29.0	the one you're working for. It's really not about the Sabbath so much. It's about learning the
1:35.6	Lord of the Sabbath. And I want to talk to you for a moment about working for the Lord of Sabbath.
1:42.3	And there's several things in this passage that strike me. One is that we need to
1:46.3	know ourselves and understand ourselves in the right way. In this same passage, Jesus talks about
1:52.9	David having a season where he was hungry, where he had need and had to have needs met.
