1:05.8	Lord. And as I read 2 Kings 24, I find myself wondering what would have happened if God's people
1:13.2	had humbly repented, even at the last minute before Babylon overtook them. And as I read this chapter
1:22.8	in specifically this verse, I'm reminded of the seriousness, the consequences of sin,
1:29.4	and I'm compelled and driven to pray for my own life and for us that God would help us to learn
1:36.0	from those who've gone before us to see the consequences of sin and rebellion against God and
1:43.7	to learn, to trust in him. And when we send to repent quickly, so let's pray accordingly. Oh God,
1:52.4	we praise you for your commands that we know are for our good. God, we praise you for your word
2:01.1	that we know is for our good. So we pray that you to help us to trust your word, help us to follow
2:10.0	your word, help us to obey your commands today. God, we pray that you'd help us to walk in step
2:16.5	with your spirit and obedience to your word today. I pray that over my life, I pray that over
2:21.1	every single person listening right now, and God, should we disobey you in any way and our thoughts,
2:28.9	our desires, our words, our actions, God, not do what you are calling us to do or do what you
2:37.6	are calling us not to do, whatever it might look like. God, we pray for swift conviction of
2:44.4	spirit. God, for soft hearts that confess sin quickly and turn from it, that don't continue
2:53.2	in it as your people did all throughout the Old Testament. And specifically here in Second
2:59.0	Kings, chapter 24, and experience your discipline and the consequences of their sin for it.
3:04.5	Jesus, even as we pray all of this, we praise you for taking the ultimate penalty that we deserve
