Well, hello and welcome back to Kindle. Today I am super excited to bring you a conversation I got to have with Misty Winkler, homeschool mom and author of multiple books.

Misty has become one of my favorite tightest two women in my life, who I am just consuming all of the content that she's creating because she is just so wise in

how to take care of our homes, how to homeschool well, how to find the right motivation for

being a homemaker and a stay-at-home mom with a happy heart and not begrudging being begrudging in our work, which can just be such an easy

temptation to fall into. I have kind of been binging her content ever since I really found her

and even recently just decided to join Convivial Circle, her online community, because I was

not getting enough from the podcast, and so I wanted more.

But I got to have her on Kindle. And you get to hear a conversation where I got to ask her all of the

questions. And I think you'll love what she has to say. So with that, here is my conversation with

Misty Winkler. Misty, thanks so much for being here today.

So I would love for you to start out by telling us a little bit about yourself, your life,

your family, who you are, what you do.

Yeah.

So my husband and I were both homeschooled.

We met in high school, got married at 19, had five kids. Two of our kids are graduated from our homeschooled. We homeschooled all five kids. Two are graduated. Our first grandbaby is on the way. We're super excited about that.

And then we have one son in college and then three still at home, two high schoolers and

grades are so hard when you homeschool. Probably she's sixth grade, but she's 11. And so I started blogging just for fun,

just to write my thoughts and to process and learn life, what I was learning in life,

when my first two were just little.

Blogs were brand new, and I was like, I can do that.
