in your life. Well, today we get to talk about probably one of my all-time favorite topics in

its prayer. My mentor says that I have an upfront ministry with the behind-the-scenes heart.

And it's just true. I'm an intercessor. I spend a lot of time in prayer. I love solitude time with

God. And I'll tell you, I pray big, audacious prayers

about global issues, and I pray persistent prayers about my family. I've seen God do great things,

and yet there's some things so close to my heart that I have prayed for for years, and I've gained

inches only. Why do you suppose that is? Well, I'm super excited to talk with Pastor

J.D. Greer. You know, he's one of our faith radio programmers, but he's also got a book out.

And I've got to tell you, his subtitle might be my most favorite subtitle I've ever read.

Title of his book is Just Ask. And listen to the subtitle, the joy of confident, bold, patient, relentless, shameless, dependent, grateful, powerful, expectant prayer.
