O.G. Okay, let's get started with the podcast.

This podcast topic, traditional schools versus learning communities.

Now versus means against. It's like a

competition, like a fight. So I'm going to talk about traditional school, the

kind of school we all went to, our elementary schools, our middle schools, our high

schools, our universities, our graduate schools. You go to the school and you sit in

a class at a little desk and you sit in a class at a little desk and you sit with a lot of other students and you

look at the teacher and the teacher stands in front of the class and talks and talks and talks about the subject and you have

your little textbook and sometimes the teacher says, turn to page 54 now and everybody turns to page 54 and you study what's on page 54

and then maybe every week or two weeks or three weeks you take a test and you get a number grade.

And then at the end of your class, the end of the semester, you get your A or your B or your C or your D and then you forget

everything and you go to the next class. That's the traditional method of

education.

What's a learning community?

A learning community is a group of people

studying and learning together, alone and together, individually and together.
