Turn with me, please, to James the fourth chapter.

And let's believe the Lord for utterance and exactly what we need to see and hear this morning.

You know, it makes all the difference if you hear just out of curiosity or with a desire to learn

or if you hear with a willingness to do.

Makes a lot of difference as to what you'll get.

Out of mercy, there have been times when the Lord hadn't said some things to us yet

because he knew we wouldn't do it and we'd just be accountable for it.

And he allows us time and opportunity to get more receptive and there are times

that it's the mercy of the Lord. I've talked to some single people before and sometimes folks

have been antsy and go, well, you know, where's my spouse?

Where's my spouse?

And one lady was kind of, you know, a little ill talking to me about it.

You know, I've been believing God.

I said, well, now, if they came around the corner right now and saw you are you ready are you

finances ready are you ready spiritually to not be selfish are you ready emotionally are you ready

this way are you ready that way a lot of times it's the mercy of God because if they met you right now, they might just keep going.

Oh, we're having fun now, aren't we?

Or the opportunities.

People say, well, I'm, you know, I'm, I'm, I'm chomping it to be it for the next thing.

Really?

If you had it, if you're not prepared, you can mess it up.
