I'm living in Oklahoma. Yeah. It's not bad. I appreciate you guys having me on. As always, I love

You've got some good knowledge of what's going on in oklahoma's uh i don't it's definitely a scene i'm gonna call it a scene a lot of new growers on the scene so you're there permanently now set some roots down and uh yeah let's get into it yeah it's like i'm sure i've said it here and i'm a million times the west is dead the west is dead to me. The West was dead about four years ago, three years ago. As soon as they pass rec, they kill, they kill medical, they kill shows, they kill all that shit. So there was nothing new happening on the West. And I had always, you know, it's the Oregon Trail to the workspace. But you got to elaborate on that, man, because I don't really understand what you're saying there. So when they pass recreational, they also pass no public consumption. And so as far as high times the shows we were used to, the Emerald Cup shows we're used to, we can walk by a booth and somebody just hands you a joint or just go by a dab and hear this guy with a guy with dad for you. No longer is that going to happen because what was this?

Consuming public space and they can give you a ticket for it. When did this happen? Just like drinking alcohol in a public space or drinking alcohol at a concert. And so all those things are now changed because of the legalities of it. And so it kind of has a backwards twist against the events because the events we used to know under the medical guys aren't the same because just like you can't drink alcohol in public.

I can't walk around the fifth of Jack Daniels and smoke it or drink it. And so you can't walk around with the week. If you're like, it's a private event, man, doesn't work. He's tried that. But you know, anytime you sell tickets to a private event, it doesn't really work. And it's just, I know, it happened in Portland, happened in Washington.

Washington really cracked down on it because, you know, the other thing is all the really good

growers work into getting recreational licenses.

Once they work really hard and obtain that recreational license, if they're caught giving

away weed anybody without a receipt or doing anything that might

be somewhat shady, then they're going to shut down their wreck. And nobody wants to lose their

rec license so much so that J.B.Z, a seed junkie, doesn't even sell seeds anymore because he's

got a wreck license and then it will jeopardize his rec license. And so he's pulled out all this,

all the seed cells. When did all these changes happen? I'm so sorry, but I just got to know, when did this all happen? We were at the Emerald Cup, I guess, two years ago. Was it last year? I can't remember with COVID when we went, but the one before last, yeah, that didn't happen. Because they had just, I think that California had just passed their recreational. And even that show, they were being crazy. They had us, we all had to check in all of her gear the day before the show and it had to be in a lock safety car, a shipping container on site. They had like 10 shipping containers that we all had her gear in. It was a huge mess. And they had to have video cameras above and point of sale stuff and taxes on everything.

I think, you know, I did my math wrong, but I ended up paying about $28,000 of taxes for that show, which is unused, you know, unusual.
