quite some time, but I feel like it is extremely timely ancestors be knowing just based on what is happening in the world.

And it's actually making me reconfigure the class in a lot of ways because it's like, you know,

this is a tradition that ancestors, black American ancestors used to survive in the midst of fascism, colonialism, slavery. And we're just, we're seeing so many remnants of that

today. And so what does this mean for contemporary hoodoo practitioners? What are some workings

that we should be doing, can be doing? And what do the elders have to say about all of this?
