And of course, prospecting with the Welsh, which is going to be a fun time as always. But we have to start with a start that I watched last night. I came home from football practice with my daughter. By the time everybody got settled in, it was well after 930, and I'm flipping on the MLB TV. And what do I see? But, well, it's the Los Angeles Dodgers and the San Diego Padres. Michael Callie are esteemed producers, San Diego Padres. And Michael King looking good Welsh. I mean, this is the best Michael King has looked in two years. He struck out nine and seven innings as we were talking about before the show. It would be nice to have a little bit more run support, but he got his fourth W. He was dealing in this game. Like he was just absolutely locked in. It's fun to watch a guy when he's just on like this. And when you're sort of not even expecting it, especially against a good lineup against the Dodgers. This is a great win here for the Padres who continue to keep pace at the top of that division. And again, offense, questionable for them, but Michael King, anything but last night. I thought this was a great performance for Michael King. And if he's going to pitch like this the rest of the season, man, the Padres are in a great position here, maybe even to add some more pieces to help out. Yeah, and I fully admit I was kind of a jump off the trick. This is one of those weird ones because I was a big Michael King guy a year ago, two years ago. This year kind of turned a little bit. Kind of thought this might be a trade away option, but he's been good. His pitch mix has changed up a little bit. He's been more of a primary changeup guy this year. That's been awesome for him. Also, you don't really see this often, but he's throwing four pitches 20% of the time. So the pitch distribution, it's like really tough. And he's throwing him for strikes. And he's got at least a 20% K percentage across the board with a

couple at 30 while getting a lot of whiffs. So it's just like they're all just solid pitches that

2:57.4

he's commanding. He looks healthy right now and I do still think he's overperforming a little bit

3:03.4

as much as I like Michael King. I think there's a little bit of overperformance. His expected

3:07.6

ERA kind of tells that, 361, you know, he's giving up a little bit of barreled stuff, but hey man, results are, results are in. If he walks a little bit less, I think he could take a next step up, but this was a phenomenal outing. And, you know, I don't know if, if you even want to be in the trade market of getting rid of a Michael King anymore.

3:26.0

No, I mean the trade market of getting rid of a Michael King anymore.

3:26.0

No, I mean the trade market of the Padres. Oh, yeah. No, I know you meant that. Yeah, that's what I'm talking about. Yeah. So go Padres. Go beat them Dodgers. It's fun time. All right. also yesterday
