0:36.6

We have got a guy in the brew crew

0:38.5

who might be headed back with a boo-boo to the IL. We've got some young players to talk about, some rookie-looky stuff and a whole lot more. But we've got to start with Chase Burns because, my goodness, Chase Burns is hot right now. What a start for him.

0:55.7

Two of our favorite pitchers, actually, we're going to talk about at the top of the show.

0:58.3

First, Burns for you is ERA in three May starts is 0.69.

1:03.6

The whip is 0.85.

1:05.5

Yesterday's outing, another gem for Chase Burns of the Reds, which is good because the Reds have been scuffling a little bit lately. Six innings, two hits, no earned, two walks, seven strikeouts. Chase Burns is him right now, Welsh, and he looks like a fantasy ace. Can he keep this up for the next three and a half months? Yeah, I mean, he has. He's been this guy. You know, it's funny. We had the discussion yesterday.

1:28.2

I think it was yesterday.

1:45.0

And then I went on Joe Rico's show. I plug to that, the solo show we do here on Fantasy Pros. And me and Frank Stanfler are going to kind of pseudo debate Jacob Mizorowski. We spent all this time. That was my whole point. We talked about Jacob Mizorowski yesterday or whatever it was. and I made this case and I make this case as him as top five.

2:02.6

But if Jacob Mizorowski wasn't doing what he was doing, we would probably have like a lot more focus on Chase Burns. And, you know, I mean, Cam Schlittler as well. It's just so crazy. We had all that little grouping of those, all those guys. It was like Schlitler and Burns and da-da-da-da-da-da. And and I mean Burns got the lowest area of all of them.

2:01.1

1.87. I think he's just put together a ridiculously phenomenal season that I still don't think he's fully scratching the surface.

2:09.3

But just under 27% K percentage, walks are suitable. The ERA is absolutely ridiculous.

2:15.6

And, you know, he's coming out with this 98 plus fastball on average and a 91 mile an hour slider.

2:23.7

And it's just this like really good dominant stuff.

2:25.4

So as long as just like Jacob Miserowski, he continues to be able to maintain the walks,

2:31.6

Chase Burns is going to be a guy.

2:33.4

If I'm making the case for Jacob Miserowski as being a top five guy, Chase Burns is easily debated. I'm not even sure we have to debate, but it's like easily a top 15 starting pitcher this year. So yeah, I feel I feel like pretty justified in, you know, in my love of Chase Burns. And it's been great and it's been relatively consistently great.

3:07.6

All right. Let's also talk about another guy who's been great because I see somebody in the chat here who brought it up to me as well. What about your boy, Kyle Harrison? Yeah, what about him? Oh, yeah, it's pretty good. It's pretty good. Another good outing. Let it is five innings, five hits, no earned runs no walk seven more strikeouts for Kyle Harrison. So this is my dude, right?

3:09.2

So both of our young pitching guys that we were looking for is big time returns on investment

3:14.4

this year.

3:15.4

They have been fantastic to start the season.
