Flight back was uneventful, which is always the best, but a little jet lagging in there. Already did a football show today. Got another football show later, but that doesn't matter because we're here to talk baseball. We've got a lot to get to. We're going to do some deep dives on Cal Raleigh's problems to start the year and a couple other sluggers as well. We're going to talk about some incredible pitching performances. Pitching is ahead of hitting right now in case you didn't notice by the strikeout totals from last night. Yish, but Welsh, we got to start with some big prospect news. And I know if there's one guy in the world who loves prospects, it's you. So let's talk about the big call up from the Pittsburgh Pirates, Connor Griffin.

That's right.

The shortstop's going to make his debut tomorrow on Friday. We'll have full coverage of that and prepare you for it. I know Welsh's body is ready for it. So Connor Griffin did not make the opening day roster. But here we are, basically a week later, and here he is. Seven for 16, a 438 start to the season.

Four strikeouts, five walks in five games for him. Got off to a great start in spring. We talked about it on Tuesday. I'm prospecting with the Welsh. Like, hey, I don't know what the big deal is. You know, he struggled a little bit towards the end. I don't know how these five games really proved anything differently. I know there's been a lot of talks Welsh too about

the long-term contract coming. A lot of that information was leaked in the last 24 hours, too, that

both sides were working on that. So let's talk about Connor Griffin, the call up, what it means for

fantasy and what our expectation should be, because we all know great rookies even sometimes do

have some peaks in values valleys, excuse me,

in terms of their value when you look ahead to their rookie season.
