Breakway is a Bible study recorded on the campus of Texas A&M University. Today's message is from Breakway's executive director, Timothy Atique. We hope you enjoy the message.

I want to share a story that might be familiar to some of you, but my wife, Catherine,

I, we have been married now for 14 and a half years, which means we started dating 15 and a half

years ago, which means I started trying to work it with her 16 and a half years ago.

I know that's going to be hard to believe that there was actually a time when Catherine just wasn't that into this.

And I know that's shocking, but it's possible sometimes.

So that was a reality at one point.

And I remember a time before Catherine and I started dating before

she was really into this, that I was on the phone with Catherine. We were talking and somehow

I got her to agree to watch a movie with me. And it caught me so off guard that she agreed to

it that I got off the phone and I immediately snapped into action.

Like I went and changed because I didn't want to just look fine. Like I wanted to look

fine and so I went and I changed and like I made sure that my spike was spiky. I made sure

that my shirt looked good and I got in the car and I began to make my way over to

Catherine's apartment in the whole way over there. I kid you not. I am just dreaming of what

could be. I'm dreaming of what could be. I'm like, this is the Catherine Robinson. Like that is a big

deal, people. Like the Catherine Robinson has agreed to watch a movie with me so if this goes

well just maybe I can ask her out and take her out on a real day just think and so I'm driving

over and like I'm wiping my pitters and I'm gearing up for what is about to happen and on the way

over I decide to call her and ask her if I can pick her up ice cream

on the way over, just because it's subtle, but I wanted to just show her that I'm fun and thoughtful,
