Blessed is the man who walks not in the Council of the Wicked, nor stands in the way of sinners,

nor sits in the seat of scoffers, but his delight is in the law of the Lord.

So get that.

His delight is in the law of the Lord. Get that. His delight is in the law of the Lord and he meditates on it day and night.

He's like a tree planted by streams of water that brings forth its fruit in its season.

Its leaf does not wither and in everything he does he prospers.

The wicked are not so but like chaff which the wind drives away.

Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment,

nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.

For the Lord knows the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked will perish.

That's Psalm 1.

So what I'm going to do is try to encourage you to memorize scripture and to teach your students to memorize scripture.

That's all I want to do, I want to motivate you to memorize scripture.

Let me pray once more. Father in heaven, I don't have any manuscript here like I did last night.

I have a half a page of headings that are in my heart

and I don't know the words you're going to bring to my mind, but I ask that they would be really

prophetically pointed for these hearts. You know the attitudes towards the Bible across this room. Some are very bored

when they go to the Bible and see nothing beautiful. They're not stirred, and that makes them sad.

And others love your word, but they don't have much discipline to memorize it. It seems like something that just can't do and others are totally

into it and Lord if you would be pleased to take these few minutes we have
