Hello, my friends. Welcome back to the morning mindset. Hope you're doing well. Me and

my household, we have been going through some sickness all through the Thanksgiving

holiday. Some of the grandkids head sickness has just kind of been passed around. I appreciate

your prayers. I think we're all recovering. We're all on the mend, but man has been a

slog. I hope you are doing well. We are looking to date at Proverbs 31-1-9. We're

going to be looking there to help us get our minds aligned with the Jews of God for

this day. And this one has to do with leadership. And leadership is something that exists in

all of our lives. Whether we recognize it or not, we are in some way a leader. We're

influencing someone. If you are a parent, especially you are a leader, and I want to make

journey as a leader in your own home. Now today we're going to be looking at chapter 31,

this first section, the first nine verses, is advised from King Lemuel to his son. Now

we don't know a lot about Lemuel, but we do know he's one of the authors of the Proverbs

here in chapter 31, especially. And he's going to give some advice directly to his son

about what is fitting for kings. Let's read it. He says the words of King Lemuel and

Oracle that his mother taught him, what are you doing, my son? What are you doing, son

of my womb? What are you doing, son of my vows? Do not give your strength to women. Your

ways to those who destroy kings. It is not for kings, oh, Lemuel, it is not for kings

to drink wine or for rulers to take strong drink, lest they drink and forget what has been

decreed and pervert the rights of the afflicted. Give strong drink to the one who is perishing.
