Welcome to the Boneyard with Steve Robertson. As always, I am your good friend and host Steve Robertson here on the Monday edition of the yard.

I hope things are well with you wherever you are today. I am a little bit under the weather, but I will be undeterred. I will record our show. I will have a good time with it. I will bring some knowledge. I will bring some excitement, maybe even a little song and dance.

You just never know.

It depends on how much this cold medicine impacts me.

But all that being said, hope that you guys are doing great.

It's a new day.

You know, this time last week, we were working through a lot of anxiety.

We're working through some emotional investment that we had not

not had a lot of great return on. But here we are now. We know who our head coach is. We are now

working through staffing issues. What I understand from sources close to the situation,

Mike Leach is expected to bring his entire offensive staff with him to Mississippi State,

to bring his strength and conditioning staff, as well as his special teams coordinator,

we're still waiting to see what will happen at the defensive coordinator.

I understand Coach Leach is actually interviewing some candidates today,

expecting a decision at some point this week, and that's the million-dollar question

right now. It's okay, Steve, now we've got the head coach. We understand the offense. We

understand Aaron Feld's not coming. What about defensive coordinator? We've got to have

somebody that is familiar with

big time football coaching your defense. You may recall this, but Washington State

had a resignation mid-year from their defensive coordinator. So he's not bringing his own

DC. Matter of fact, I understand he's not bringing any defensive people until after he gets hired

to D.C.
