At Popular Science, we report and write dozens of science and tech stories every week.

And while a lot of the fun facts we stumble across make it into our articles, there are

lots of other weird facts that we just keep around the office.

So we figured, why not share those with you?

Welcome to the weirdest thing I learned this week, from the editors of Popular Science.

I'm Rachel Thulman.

I'm Sarah Trotosh.

And I'm Jason Letterman.

So on the weirdest thing I learned this week, we start by each offering a little teeth,

a little pitch of a story that we found in the course of our reporting or answering emails

or checking Twitter or Reddit, you know, being a journalist.

And we decide which one we just absolutely have to hear more about first.

Once we've all had time to spin our little science yarns, we reconvene and vote on what

the weirdest thing we learned this week actually was.
