It was a very ordinary, very uneventful, lazy weekend in March 2019.

Matieu Grima, age 11, was having a really boring day.

Normally, the weekend, I like to see my friends, we make a random one.

I like nature and I like to be by the way.

But this day, I stayed all day at home. So I eat at night.

I had nothing to do and I watched videos on YouTube.

Matieu was clicking through random YouTube videos when one in particular caught his eye.

It showed a pair of hands covered in thick yellow gloves handling what looked like a rectangular wooden board.

And that board was crawling with bees.

The gloves hands belonged to a beekeeper, an apiculture, who was tending to a wooden bee hive in Ruch.

I clicked on the video and I started to watch.

The bee is a symbol of biodiversity.

It was a mage's apiculture.

He had a camera on his head and he was filmed in a cell phone with his bees and his dogs.

Matieu watched attentively.

On the screen, the beekeeper showed the worker bees.

Then he pointed out the queen bee.

He showed how she had a long body and short wings, diesel.

He showed the queen more and more long than the other bees and little bees.

He explained everything about the life of the colony.

The bee opened the queen.

I found that fascinating.
