My name's Daniel Port, and I am excited to have you here with us today.

We're going to take a break here from talking about players who retired this year because the Hall of Fame announcements came out.

And we've already talked about Adrian Beltray, but there are two players we haven't talked about.

We're going to knock out one of them today.

And we're going to talk about Todd Helton, one of my favorite players, historically speaking.

And then we'll get to Joe Mower here before the season starts.

When you do a podcast like this, you end up falling in love, so to say, with a lot of different players.

And when you watch baseball, as long as I have,

I've been watching what, probably baseball is like seven or eight years old.

I'm 38 now.

So, you know, almost three decades worth of baseball,

you end up rooting for falling in love with a lot of different players

for a lot of different reasons.

They might have all the

athletic ability or the big moments or the smile or the personality or all these different things

that can really draw you to a player. And I think I've covered some of them here on this podcast

and talking about becoming

and having a Longoria fan because of big home runs or listening to someone tell me about

Edgar Martinez hitting the double or talk about Griffey, talking about these different

players that really resonated throughout the years.

And I feel like what's really interesting is I feel like I haven't watched a lot of them,
