My name is Daniel Port.

I'm your host here every single week coming out every Friday at noon Eastern Standard Time on the Picture List Podcast Network.

Here every week on Long Ball Legacies, you all come and join me as we look at the players who

have helped shape the story of baseball and the mythology and tall tales of American history

and baseball history.

I know the last few weeks we looked at a couple third basemen, looked at Scott Rowland

and sort of his impact that came out of him getting elected into the Hall of Fame.

But I do realize that it is actually Women's History Month.

And so I wanted to put out an episode talking about some of the remarkable women that we've

seen in baseball, whether it's playing it, coaching it, or having an impact on the game.

And I apologize for literally getting this episode out on the last day of women's history month, but I had good reason.
