Eastern time. We are here to break down players from baseball's past, present, and maybe, I guess, the future. You never know. Things could get a little trippy here. But we are here to talk about the story of baseball and how we tell it through those who played it and those who had the greatest impact on the game.

And I am excited for this week's episode because a lot of times we often take a player and try to look backwards into some comparisons for that player.

Whether we're talking about someone like

Bryce Harper, and then we look at Bryce Harper compared to Mickey Mantle, and then compare

him to Mike Trout, or do something along those lines.

And this week, we're actually doing the opposite.

We're taking a player from the past, namely Scott Rowland.

And today we're going to talk about a player of today's game, who I feel like is smart and

accurate comparison for Scott Rowland.

And we talked last week when we went over Scott Rowland that his inclusion into the Hall

of Fame opened the door for a lot of other current third baseman to have a good shot at making the

Hall of Fame. And as I started trying to think of who those players might be, I realized we'd

covered a few of them already. We'd already talked about Jose Ramirez and Evan Longoria, who I feel

both are borderline cases potentially for the Hall of Fame and Roland's election certainly
