My name is Daniel Port.

I am here every other week on Saturdays on the Picture List Podcast Network.

It's so exciting to have you all here today to talk about one of my favorite players, historically speaking,

and I'm really very excited to talk about.

I know last episode I had talked about wanting to do a Scott Rowland episode, and I'm going to coming up because he just made the Hall of Fame, and I think it's really important to talk

about the legitimacy of his candidacy and talk about him as a player because I really like Scott

Rowling.

But it occurred to me that it's Black History Month, and I think that it's really important.

One of the purposes of a podcast likes us to try and elevate the stories of black players

and try to tell their stories and emphasize their importance of the game of baseball.

And so with that mind, I'm going to push the Scott Rollin episode back a couple weeks.
