| 0:07.2 | We're talking about low-maintenance crops to grow if you are a busy person which is most of us. I think it's safe to say, most of us are pretty |
| 0:15.7 | busy people in our lives. So what can we grow that doesn't, what can we grow that just doesn't take a lot of time? How can we make our gardening lower efforts, lower input, and still get a bunch of stuff out of it? |
| 0:28.0 | So let's talk about that. The first thing we want to do is grow things that are annual crops and have a fairly long |
| 0:36.3 | season. So these are set it and forget it crops is a good way to think about them. |
| 0:41.3 | They don't need a lot of babying and you harvest them all at once so you don't need to run around checking to see if different plants are ready to harvest. |

| 1:36.0 | Obviously, root crops are going to be a bit lower maintenance than some of these. |
| 1:40.0 | But regardless, they all are still long season, |
| 1:43.8 | and you harvest them all at once as well. |
| 1:46.2 | You know, a cabbage, you wait until it gets a nice head, |
| 1:48.4 | and then you just harvest the head. |
| 1:50.6 | Broccoli, again, similar situation there. |
| 1:53.8 | So those are some other good choices. |
