Yep, it's a Robcast, this is episode 357 and it's called Layers.

And this is kind of a rant and I'm kind of going to vent, but also not because I have so

much love and affection from the get-go, I got to play my hand up front.

I do these paintings on wood that I scavenge from remodeled projects.

So we remodeled this house and there was all this wood and I started stacking it up

and like taking the nails out and taking the door knobs off and the handles off of the

kitchen cabinets and I was like, I'm going to paint on those.

So I started painting and painted out all these stacks of old kitchen cabinets because

our house was built in 1960, but then my neighbor across the street, he remodeled his bathroom

and his kitchen.

And I saw all this wood out in front of his house and I was like, hey, Johnny, what are

you going to do with that wood?

I was tossing it and I was like, can I have some?

He was like, okay, so I went through in my neighbor's driveway all the wood that he had

just torn out of his house and I had like my, you know, power screwdriver thing and look

at me, too, a guy.

And I got a bunch of new cabinets, I mean, I'm telling you, give me a fresh kitchen cabinet

door.

I am like, I get like really excited, I mean, really excited.

And then next door neighbors, the house sold, it was built in 1940.

Some people just took the house and they're going to completely remodel the house and

got it.
