Good evening, Rachel. You know, I have had my disappointments, I guess I'll put it from time to time, about the White House press corps and how they handle certain things and things they don't do.

Today was kind of great because we have a winner. We have a winner tonight

for best question asked by a member of the White House Press Corps. And the winner's going to

join us during this program. Yeah, we're going to give him the award. And through the screen,

because he's in Washington. And it's a joy to do that because,

you know, I'm a, I'm a critic, the White House Press Corps. When they get it right, I want to be

right there with them, supporting them every step of the way. You know, I don't know if you're

a Lyle Lovett fan, Lawrence, but there's this great

old Lyle Lovett song where part of the kind of refrain is, I like you because you like me

and you don't like much.

I feel like you giving an award to anybody, particularly somebody in the press, you giving an award

to anybody for anything is like a really big deal because you don't

like much in that regard.

So it's all the more special.

You're saying I'm kind of a grouchy kind of guy.

I would say you're discerning in all the right ways.
