Whether we're a storm rattled central Florida residents are delivered a third powerful punch.

On September 26th 2004, most Florida residents are hunkered down inside, as Hurricane Gene

slams the eastern coast.

One of storms had just come through, you know, gone just south of Tampa through Port Charlotte,

the state and every major airport in the southeast was closed.

But the shinlers and David Gibbs aren't taking shelter inside.

Instead, they're making plans to head out on the roads into the storm.
