And greetings. Happy Monday. Welcome to a brand new week here of the Steve Day show live and on demand, but really not all that much in demand, but somebody's got to be here. So why not us?

I am Steve Dates here on Blaze TV radio and podcast alongside Todd Erzen and Aaron McIntyre and a couple of quick housekeeping notes here on the show.

Number one, tomorrow we are going to do a special edition of the Steve Day show just to show you how things have changed.

This is something I this is another thing I would have never guessed I would find myself doing even earnestly and not non ironically.

At any point when I got into this business 17 years ago full time, but just as we have done for Donald Trump and Ron DeSantis, by popular demand, we are going to do questions for RFK Jr. as a presidential candidate on tomorrow's show.

I just I got into this business. I did not anticipate I would be doing non ironic analysis of the merits or lack thereof of supporting a democratic president presidential candidate, but here we are in the era in which we live.

So we are going to be doing that on tomorrow's show. Make sure you don't miss that also just want to thank my just incredible wife for the surprise party that she threw for me on Saturday.

You guys did a great job of lying to me the entire time. I mean, I even called you about something Saturday. You asked me what I was doing tonight playing it all off.

It was very casually well done. Todd, you did that well. Yeah, like your shirt too, by the way. And as well. Yeah, thank you.

This is the second time this has happened in a week. Go team. People are going to start thinking we are coordinating on purpose here. No, we just care that little.

That's really what it is. This is our standards are simultaneously that old or that low because we are now that old. I turned 50 and I mean we had numerous people fly in for this event.

It was just fun, including, you know, Gaston and Sarah from here at the blaze, Gaston, Muni and Sarah Gonzalez and just it was a great night, great event.

And I'm beyond honored and just wanted to say thank you to everybody that was there.

And a medical update. You guys know last week when I was in LA just lost hearing in my right ear suddenly. And ever since last Sunday afternoon, it has felt like fireflies on a summer night, just going off in my right ear the entire time.

Finally, got in to see the specialist today and here's where we are. There is no evidence of any infection in my year.

They have seen an uptick in these kinds of cases here in the last couple of years.

Now this part is my own personal opinion. I think it is what I said a couple of years ago. None of us know the long term ramifications of exposure to this virus of malicious origin and this jab of questionable to malicious origin.

And so we are all at this point experiments. That's my own personal thought. But back to what I was told this morning.

There is nerve damage behind my ear drum of quote unknown origin and cause. I've heard this one before.

And my ear drum is working perfectly fine. My ear is completely intact on the right side. Some nerve was severed and that is why the sound signals are not properly going to the brain.

And so it's like my brain is like on another channel and it's broadcasting this firefly sound instead.
