We are joined today by a friend of mine, Natalie Segovia,

who is the executive director of the Water Protector Legal Collective.

She's also a long-time, I guess, environmental justice lawyer,

if you want to call it that.

But I've had some personal experience with Natalie, and she's done a great job of, you know,

representing water protectors, but also advocating and trying to push back on the media narrative,

especially as it surrounds the fossil fuel industry and specifically fossil fuel companies like energy transfer and their

narrative that they push to criminalize dissent, but also to go after indigenous sovereignty

and environmental rights.

So Natalie, if you want to introduce yourself, tell us where you're calling from,

you know, where you're from, but also if you can just talk to us about how you got into

lawyering.
