Hey guys, this is Justin.

Maybe you know that you are forgiven because of Jesus Christ,

but you're wondering, what does Jesus have to do with my Christian life?

How is he involved in my sanctification even?

Or is he concerned at all with the ways that I struggle and the way that my life goes up and down?

Is there any comfort for me in Jesus when it comes to all of that?

Well, I've written a book called More Than Forgiven,

how being in Christ changes everything that deals with this topic from Romans chapter 6.

This morning we're going to do, we're calling this a live podcast reporting, which is what it is.

We want this to be a pretty brief-flowing conversation between the three of us,

and we're going to go here there and everywhere a little bit, and hope that it's an encouragement to you. If there is time, I think we've got this space until noon. If there's time, we might

open it up for Q&A, and those questions would be of a law and gospel nature. And if we are just rolling up here and we don't get to the Q&A, then that's going to be okay.

So we're going to kick this live podcast off, speaking a little bit autobiographically.

A lot of times it's helpful for all of us.

When we hear other people's stories we connect with that

and we're not going to give the entire story for each of us of how we got to where we are now

we've talked about that a little bit more what we're going to try to do is talk about where

we came from and what that meant for us here Here's what life was like for us before we

understood the law and the gospel and what that meant in terms of how we thought about God,

how we felt about God and how he looked at us, what we thought about the Christianity,
