All right, it is August 20th, the Lazan Diamond League just wrapped up moments ago.

And we're here to recap all the action.

And now we actually do have entry lists for the Brussels Diamond League.

So we'll do a light preview of that meet as well.

But we had such high expectations for this meet, and Mother Nature decided that it was not going

to be a day to run crazy fast, I would say.

It was just pouring rain. Honestly,

kudos to Mitch Dyer, who we had out in the mix zone out there because he, like, there's a good chance he could have drowned out there. The conditions look terrible. Prit, you were also,

like, looking at photos that James Rhodes was sending over.

Oh my God. Yeah, no, it's it was it was awful. Like Mitch gave a couple of updates.

If you check out his Twitter, like it was absolutely torrential. If you saw the the long jump hit, that was that was the funniest. They were literally scooping water out from underneath

a long jump board. The conditions were really awful. It was absolutely

torrential. I'm spending the next week in Switzerland, so that's going to be fun. But yeah,

no, it was it was a bit of a shame, obviously, that we didn't, we missed out on some of the great,

you know, the fast times that we may have wanted or hope for

from some of these races. And it kind of made it a little bit more difficult to kind of know what the

results meant, whether people were just having, like, just struggling with the conditions or whether

genuinely, like, you know, it was, you know, they were, they weren't performing as well. So

it probably gives us less of a read of the kind of things we'd want to take away going

into the world championships. But at the same time, still some interesting results. A couple

of good races in there and enough stuff to talk about, I think. Yeah. All right. So let's get

into it a little bit.
