Today, for this Friday, I got the story for you of Lori Shaver. Now, this is a really interesting story. It was one, if you can believe it, I wanted to cover for a long time. I first heard about this story

years and years ago before I finally got around making the video of this story, which I think

I published in like November of 2024. You're listening to the audio of it, as always, with the

But I first heard of the story, I think back in like 2020,

when it first came out.

And back then it was when Lori posted the video,

which you will hear snippets of in this episode

of her begging for donations for her defense fund she has this whole video

claiming oh I just found yeah I can't believe my dead husband who's been missing

was found buried in my own backyard what are the odds of that you know shit

happens right and then she has this video where she's just begging people for

donations and she's like I'm a good wife I'm a good mom I'm a good wife, I'm a good mom, I'm a good Christian,

you know, all these like, all these things, just trying to garner sympathy while this like

music plays, this like orchestral sad music plays in the background and, uh, uh, I guess what?

Not a whole lot of people donated. Womp, Womp, her, Lori Wob for Lori. But yeah, we'll get into it. So,

why don't we? Good question, me. With that further ado? Let's give it a goo.

In Lawrence, New York, our story begins. A tiny little town right smack dab in the middle of the state of New York,

and also right smack dab in the middle of nowhere.

Less than 3,000 people live there,

and two of those 3,000, as we pop into our time machine and go back 20 years,

were Michael Shaver and his childhood sweetheart, Laurie Paddleford.
