Summary

Laurence Fox has become almost as synonymous for his controversial opinions and outspoken nature, as he has for the acting career that set him on the road to fame. Over the course of the past few years, Laurence has defied the conventional narratives around such issues as immigration, vaccinations and the state of society as a whole, but airing these views has seen him regularly on the blacklists when it comes to censorship. In this frank and sometimes brutal episode, Laurence talks candidly to Rob about what it means to have your public voice stripped away - to be cancelled - and why he believes that for a society to be truly open, we need to stop using the ban-hammer on differing opinions, and create a world in which discourse is allowed, and speech is truly free. Revealed: Open debate is the key to creating a Great Britain, and why adhering to the mono-narrative built upon suppression only causes division and anger. The United Kingdom is already involved in the build-up to a third world war, and why we need to stop sabre rattling with a nuclear madman. The governments are corrupt and non-effective, but the answer doesn't necessarily lie in simply replacing one party with another that's even worse. The initial agony of being cancelled - of having your voice taken away - and being unable to answer back when painful labels are applied. Laurence's personal opinion on such controversial figures as Bill Gates, Harry and Meghan and the state of today’s music. Why Joe Biden needs to be investigated, and why the entire Biden empire is built upon nefarious criminal activity. Also featured Why education is the key to reclaiming the United Kingdom, and why we should let kids be kids at the most critical phase of their lives. Learning from our cultural heritage is the key to growing as a society, instead of whitewashing our history because it's uncomfortable to look at. Why common sense is the key to defeating the hard-left and hard-right, and where Laurence's true allegiance lies when it comes to taking a stance against the issues that matter. BEST MOMENTS "Good times make weak people" "People have to be encouraged to debate" "The best way to explore good sides and bad sides and learn from each other, is by being open in our discussion with people" "I'm not right-wing, I'm common-sensical. I'm pretty liberal, in line with a lot of views of the country" "People get in boats to come here. They wouldn't do that if we were an oppressive, vile racist country" VALUABLE RESOURCES https://robmoore.com/ bit.ly/Robsupporter   https://robmoore.com/podbooks  rob.team Laurence Fox Twitter - https://twitter.com/LozzaFox ABOUT THE HOST Rob Moore is an author of 9 business books, 5 UK bestsellers, holds 3 world records for public speaking, entrepreneur, property investor, and property educator. Most people understand that we're all, you know, we all have good sides and bad sides to us and the best way to explore the good sides and bad sides and go through arguments and learn from each other is by being very open in your discussion with people, but if you keep your discussion down and you suppress what you say you become more resentful.

Lawrence, how do we reclaim the UK?

0:24.0

Wow, let's go in easy, shall we?

0:27.0

No, Loub.

0:29.0

How do we reclaim the UK? Well, you've got to, I suppose it's, you've got to, the UK is kind of lost at the moment, so we've got to start at the beginning, which is education, I would say.

Stop teaching kids about skin color privilege, critical race theory, gender ideology, diversity and inclusion start early in school.

0:49.0

What's wrong with those?

0:50.0

What's wrong with what?

0:51.0

Well, you don't, kids don't notice skin color and race. They're not interested in it.

1:00.0

My, my kids mates are not, are multi-ethnic and they don't ever talk about race until they're taught about it and then they start talking about it.

1:08.0

So I don't think that's good, dividing people up into groups based on skin color, Martin Luther King had some good things to say about that, didn't he?

1:15.0

Then we've got gender ideology, which is not good because again, kids are just not ready to deal with the whole idea of you may be a boy or a girl.

1:23.0

It's hard enough being a kid without going, you know, you can be a girl or you can be a boy.

1:28.0

I don't think it's a good idea to teach kids. There are other things that kids could learn that would help them.

1:33.0

So, you know, in the end of the day, you know, look, we had the role dial thing.

1:38.0

Didn't we? Yes, they were. You got the sensitivity readers or day four sensitivity readers taking out bits of books.

1:44.0

But role dial wrote those books in order to give kids wicked imaginations and wicked imaginations are important in children because they make great individuals.

1:51.0

And we want individuals to stop this sort of mega group thing that we've got in the UK at the moment so that when, so that it's, you know, they're able to reclaim it for us because at the end of the day, we're us lot are in trouble.

2:05.0

How are we in trouble? What's wrong with the UK?

2:07.0

Well, it feels very divided to me. You know, I'm a sort of classic example of someone who didn't have the orthodox acceptable view in show business.

2:15.0

So, therefore, I'd be removed from show business. That's, you know, in a sort of Chinese style suppression of free speech.

2:22.0

So, I don't think that's a good idea. I think people, we got, we've pulled half the country of writing to open their mouths.
