So, people know your name, even before this novel, mostly probably.

As a critic, you've written book reviews for the New York Times Book Review, but also

for many other places.

Talk a little bit if you would about your reviewing.

And how did you get into this?

Well, I started reviewing as a listical writer, as I think many, increasingly many writers

in my generation will have this sort of similar background.
