highlights dating violence and stalking,

especially on college campuses,

because young women between the ages of 16 and 24

experience the highest rate of violence

at the hands of an intimate partner. So your trigger warnings today,

stalking, violence, murder, suicide, and sharing of intimate, revenge porn. We'll say revenge porn. It's an easier way to say it I guess.

Lauren McCluskey was an outstanding athlete and student.

She began breaking track records when she was only in elementary school

competing in the junior Olympics.

In high school, she focused on school and training. She did volunteer work, all while being a state track champion.

After graduating from high school, she headed to the University of Utah where she had been awarded a track and field scholarship.

She was smart. Her GPA was nearly a 3.8 and she was stunning. She had dark hair and bright blue eyes. She was 5-8. She loved animals and her family. And even after she left Washington State to attend college in Utah, she spoke to her mom on the phone several times a day, most days.

Early in her college career, she was described as kind of shy and quiet, but with age came the confidence of a newly 21-year-old
