Today we're talking once again launching from American soil

with two different vehicles developed by two different companies Boeing and

SpaceX. It's part of the commercial crew program to enable the capability to launch people into space by private American businesses.

Today I'm sitting down with the manager of that program, Kathy Leaders, who's based over at the Kennedy Space

Center in Florida. We got a brief history of the program, how it started and where it is now,

a little bit more about the companies and their two different vehicles and what's ahead for the future.

Very soon, we'll be announcing the crews that will be the first to travel on these vehicles,
