I'm Alicia Menendez.

Earlier this year, we released a few episodes to see if other people would be as excited about this project as we were.

And you were, so thank you.

Now we're back, under new management as a Latina-owned enterprise.

Juleika-Lentigua Williams, the co-executive producer of the show and I, are just getting started. Latina to Latina is a place for women we admire.

There's a saying in Spanish that says,

It's difficult to translate because literally it just means what I dance, no one can take away from me.

But it basically means that your legacy is there and that's not going to disappear.

Your past is not going to disappear.

The moment that you walk out of a place that you've worked in for so long, especially in the type of feel that I'm in.

A place where we can be ourselves.

Part of what networking is is actually really just sharing your most vulnerable, biggest dream

with everybody you can because you don't know who's going to have an opportunity or a

connection that will be helpful to you.

A place where we can talk, like we talk, when we're with our friends and sisters.

I was at TV Smates at the time, And I overheard a co-worker saying that it was not fair that I was taking extra breaks in the afternoon to pump. Stop. So I was like, then I'll pump in the room. You're going to see these boobies. Then here we go. Well, I was covered. I mean, I didn't do it out in the open. But yeah, I was like, all right, then I'll

pump in the room. And at the time it felt like a badass move, right? And I felt badass every

time I did it, like, screw you guys. So here we are officially launching Latina to Latina.
