And even though it feels like a Monday, it is indeed Friday, which means a couple of different things. One, I've got a lot of news to recap over the last couple of days. The transfer portal is now officially open. The college football playoff quarter finals were this past, I guess, last couple of days. So we're going to recap how a lot of those things went down. And then, of course, it is the Friday free-for-all mailbag. We have 45 awesome questions, comments, scenarios already in there. It's going to be a jam-pack show.

We were normally just going to do a mailbag, but there's obviously some news that we're going to discuss. And we'll dive into that today. But yeah, it is weird. It felt more like a Monday show. Like I was sitting there or even a Sunday show. I was sitting there yesterday with Ange and I'm like,

we don't have church tomorrow, do we?

It's just like, what?

Like I said,

because there's been football games on all. there yesterday with Ange and I'm like we don't have church tomorrow do we she's like what like

I said I said for some reason because there's been football games on all day I kind of feel like this is

a Saturday and it was a Thursday but we're here enjoyed the the new years had a nice dinner with

my wife last night I actually did watch some football I found some ways to watch the game without supporting

ESPN, which is always a lot of fun. So we're going to talk about that. I'm going to have some

things to say about Alabama and just the playoffs in general. And then we're going to talk about

the latest news and things happening with Notre Dame. And obviously, the first big thing, Trevor,

is, you know, it was reported today.

We put it on the board. It was also reported by, I honestly can't remember who the other person

that was reported by, but it's reported first by somebody else other than us. And I can't remember

who it was, but I don't want to act like we were the ones that broke it. But I did get it

confirmed with somebody from Jordan Faison's family that Jordan Faison won't be playing lacrosse this year. And it was not, I was told it was not an easy decision at all. Jordan loves playing lacrosse, loves coach Corrigan, and then obviously was really looking forward to the opportunity to play a season with his brother. Dylan will be on the lacrosse team this year.

But he just felt that it was best for him to stick to football.

And the reason why is in another example of, wow, time really flies.
