But the Green Bay Packers and offensive tackles, Zach Tom, have reached an agreement on a four-year $88 million extension.

But joining us right now is our baseball aficionado here on the show, our engineer, our board op, the one and only, Jake Hassan, to help us break down what's been happening in

1:11.2

Major League Baseball, because I'll be honest, like I said, at the top of the show, didn't take in a whole lot of sports outside of the Open Championship this past week when I was back home in the Seattle area. So I've been doing a little bit of catch-up in baseball. But the big thing that I saw before the All-Star break, post-all-star break,

1:28.8

is the Los Angeles Dodgers

1:30.7

seem to be in a little bit of a rut. Jake, welcome back. I guess I shouldn't say welcome

1:35.5

back since you worked all last week, but it's been a while since we've done something together.

1:39.6

So I'm going to say it anyways, welcome back from your vacation uh as we get into this thing what's going

1:45.5

on with the dodgers are they okay i know recently freddie freeman got hit by a pitch we're still

1:50.1

waiting on that MRI to see what happens with him even though he's been dreadful for like six

1:54.4

weeks now freddie freeman uh they got swept by the brewers over the weekend feels like the dodgers

1:58.8

are in a little bit of a free fall as the world series favorite currently over at Bette MGM. Yeah, it's like everybody on this team just gets hit by a bus every time they go outside. Like they're getting the Jerry Jones treatment. I don't know what's happening and where these players are going. Yeah, it's talking about the Dodgers. But it's, I mean, it started even in the beginning of the year with Blasnow and Snell and all of their starting pitchers. And now it's the bullpen guys as well. Evan Phillips's elbow exploded. Bruiser Gradol's been dealing with an oblique or a labrum thing all year long. Now, Freddie Freeman, it's just one after the other. I think the Dodgers will be fine. and certainly their price isn't going to change that much because they're probably still going to get into the playoffs. Now, whether that's a wild card or they do win the division because the Padres are kind of hanging around and their three and a half games back, I don't know. I still think that this Dodgers team will be fine. And one thing that we know about the Dodgers is they're not going to be scared at the trade deadline.

2:52.9

Like if they have holes that they need to plug on this roster, they'll go out and do it. I mean, when we were on the show last week, Jared asked me, what do you think the biggest thing that's going to happen on the deadline? I said, I think the Dodgers are going to go get like an Emanuel classet, a Mason Miller, and just go big game hunting here because they know what the goal is.

3:09.8

So they might as well go get some of these guys. I still think that's the case. I don't think they're going to go trade for like a Josh Naylor to replace Freddie Freeman for two weeks. But I think the Dodgers will probably be fine. It is interesting, though, that maybe bet some Padres for the NOS. I think that would be the only thing that would maybe be actionable. I'm not trying to bet the Dodgers to miss the playoffs at a big price or anything like that, though. Yeah, that just seems a little bit too much, a little too much smoke there. But I did float that class A trade to another baseball guy, I trust. And he said that would definitely move the

needle for me if the Dodgers were able to go out. And really, too, on the other side, indicating
