Monday, May 11th, 2026. I'm Eben Brown. President Trump calls Iran's proposal to end the war,

garbage and warns the ceasefire is on life support. Does Iran's regime want to keep fighting a war?

Whether these are calculated to cause President Trump just to say it's garbage,

or they really think that they can get something like this,

either way they're not going to get it, so it could be the prompt for the president to look at some kind of

further military strikes. This is the Fox News rundown operation Epic Fury.

President Trump is due to make that much-awaited visit to the People's Republic of China and to that

country's leader, President Xi Jinping. China's foreign ministry officially announced the visit

earlier today. That announcement comes after Israel's prime minister, acknowledged in a U.S.

television interview, that Iran is partially supplied or supported by China. President Trump has long treated China's Xi with respect,

despite the two countries' policy goals being at least at odds. There are some that say

China's economic aggression over many years was tantamount to warfare. But while President

Trump will be flying there, he'll also be dealing with the ongoing,

if perhaps stalled war against Iran. The Islamic Republic's response to a peace negotiation was not

well received by President Trump. He called it garbage and totally unacceptable. And one has to

ask if the Iranians are even looking to stop the war.

Iran sees the negotiations as just another theater of the war, and they treat it that way.

So the U.S. puts out a proposal. Iran comes back with further demands.
