Are you up for a fun word replacement today?

This is something that I love to do.

It's something that I love to do because so few people do it and it's completely innocent. We use this word all the time, very well

meaning and I really believe with the best of intentions, but let's just keep it real for a moment, okay?

Because we have a history with this word

and I want us to be true to ourselves

when we're using it. And the word is this. We hear it a hundred times a day,

out of our mouths, out of other people's mouths. It's this later.

I'll do it later.

I don't know when I first came across this expression but I believed it, I internalized it and I say

it again and again, especially if something is important to me and I'm putting it off.

It's this, later is never. Did you hear that? Later is never.

So when we say later, what we really mean is at some

indetermin, like undetermined point in the future something something is going to take place.

And remember, the future doesn't even exist yet, right?

All we have is the present.

And when something is going to happen later, well, what if just for a experiment for a few days we started saying

the word never? If later is never, if they are synonymous, what if we say you

know what I'm going to write my book, never.

Or I'm going to finally take care of my health and put myself first.
