Ray Garvin is the founder and creator of Destination Devine and hosts the

popular show Wake Up with Ray Jean. He's a former college football defensive

back. He's got a law degree and he's the first to say good morning to all the

good people out there. These are his late-round perspectives, but I think this is

the first actual show that we've sat down and just talked all together. I think so

because I'm just used to hearing this that the one-on-one of voices on the

podcast airwaves from my car speaker. I've not heard it through my mic I had

phone so you're right. This is this is our first time man. Yeah no I'm pumped I'm

super super pumped. You have you have more of like I mean I feel like you have a

very unique background just in general when you compare it to the nerdiness of

me and others in the space. You come from you know you played defensive back in

college. You you have sort of like you look at both the qualitative and

quantitative side of the game more than I do for sure more than a lot of people

because I think in general the fantasy community skews towards numbers a little

bit more than you know being good enough to be able to watch stuff right

because not a lot of people have the same background that you would have. So my

question to you what I want to kick things off with you know you do a lot of

work with college football in particular you know I do college football

prospecting and stuff but I don't really get going until January if I'm being

honest you know I'm a I'm a pit fan you know alma mater all that good stuff kind

of sucks this year it's been pretty bad pretty bad since picket left but I'm
