Hi everyone, I'm Sarah Jenk's Daily and welcome to Late Night Lit.

This month we have two fantastic guests who are both friends and colleagues.

The first is New York Times best-selling and Booker Prize-winning author, Marlon James,

whose new novel, Moon Witch Spider King, was published last month.

It is the second book in the Dark Star trilogy.

The first, Black Lepard Red Wolf, told the story of tracker, who was on a quest to find

a missing boy and who over the course of the novel journeys through a fantastical world

of African kingdoms, shape shifters and spirits.

The second book in the trilogy is told from the perspective of Saga-Lon, the Moon Witch,

whom we meet in the first book but whose story we didn't fully know.
