So here to discuss what's new in the world of books is Late Night's own literary expert,

Sarah Janks Daily.

Hi everyone, I'm Sarah Janks Daily and welcome to Late Night Lit.

This month's guests are two remarkably brilliant women that we are so excited to feature.

The first is Maggie O'Farell, award-winning novelist and author of HamNet, which also

happens to be on everyone's favorite book of 2020 list.

HamNet was published last year, won numerous awards, and we had the opportunity to talk to

Maggie this month to promote the paperback version.

She's delightful, warm, and as big a Shakespeare fan as I've ever met.

The second is Jasmine Ward, an author I have had the immense pleasure of meeting here at Late

Night and one of the most spectacular and important voices in literature right now.

Jasmine recently joined together with Literati to lead a new virtual monthly book club, something

she's never done before, where she shares stories that as she's described are deserving

of more attention and from writers who are taking risks on the page.

I for one will read anything Jasmine Ward recommends.
