Second, we speak to Jacqueline Cooley, awards editor at Rotten Tomatoes, who joins us to

Ann Patchett is one of the most celebrated novelists of our time and for good reason.

She's the author of eight novels, three nonfiction books, a children's book, and countless essays,

many of which have become international best-selling works.

Her latest, These Precious Days is a collection of essays exploring topics like grief, love,

relationships, and friendships.

And as Ann explains, this book came out of a time when her interest was less focused

on fiction and more on writing about the world in front of her.

It's exceptional and moving and certainly worth a read.
