A Hey everyone, welcome to a new edition of Late Night Cram, our podcast where we talk

about issues we weren't able to get to on the broadcast of Late Night. I'm Henry Melcher.

I'm a supervising producer on the show and I'm Sal Gintiel. I'm the supervising writer

for a closer look. And on today's show, we're going to do something a little different.

We're going to talk about the upcoming round of democratic debates. And after that, you'll

hear my extended interview with Senator Cory Booker that I conducted in his SUV after

he left his interview last week at Late Night and went to another interview. So it was

a very fun, interesting opportunity to chat with one of the presidential candidates.

How was it jumping in the SUV? Was it a hurried situation? It kind of was pouring rain.

And you'll hear this later not to give it away. But Cory Booker gives some props to Jay,

our digital producer for finding his way into the backseat of the SUV without tangling

up the cables or the cords or anything. Oh wow. It was a pretty interesting plot point

in the podcast. Wow. Yeah. Wow. Do we get to hear that? Yeah. That's going to be in

there. That is, you know, we're key. Cinema very day. Wow. That's very day, you know.

It's very like a old radio. We're good to hear like the sound effects. We're in here

like footclamps of you guys like knock knock door open. Yeah. That type of thing. And

I think there was literally paparazzi taking photos of Cory Booker me walking out.
