The How's it going, Church of the Highlands? Yeah, that's what I'm talking about.

I love it. I love it. Even on a time change Sunday, there's lots of energy in the room. I sense God's presence in the room. I want to say a big hello to all of our locations across

the state of Alabama over into Georgia. We just joined together as one church. We love you guys

so very much. Of course, anyone who's joining us online or on demand, and then the men and women

of the Alabama Correctional Facilities.

Come on one more time as a church family, put your hands together, say hello.

I love it. I'm so glad you're here today, and it's going to be a great day in church.

I am fired up for what I believe God wants to speak to each of us in today. It's going to be

a powerful message. I think you

probably have noticed my voice is struggling a little bit. And so this is not an object lesson. This is

just in case right here, this glass of tea. And so I told the team, though, it's kind of appropriate.

Today we're talking about love. And I got a raspy voice. So Jill, I think, you know, hey, this is

sovereignty of God. So we're going to go

together and let's just have fun together. I need y'all's help today. Preaching today. Y'all

with me? All right. So August 27th, 2017 was a crazy day for our family. Jill and I were at

Highlands College. Back then, it was at our

Grace Stone location, and our chapel service had just started when I got a phone call from our

babysitter. So three of our boys were in school that day. One of them was at home, our youngest,

with a babysitter. And she never calls me, so I knew something was going on. I didn't answer it

because we were in chapel. She calls back, calls back a third time. All right, something's happening. I step out, Jill and I step out,

we answer the phone, and she was completely frantic. It was just like from zero to a thousand.
